Core —> Fall 2026        

This 10-week applied functional anatomy training explores the pivotal core muscles that connect your pelvis to your ribs.

Each session explores how to isolate and engage a particular muscle (or group of muscles) in a variety of poses.  Topics include:

• Hip flexion and extension — iliopsoas, quads, glutes and hamstrings
• Anterior chain — rectus abdominals, obliques, transverse abdominals
• Posterior chain — quadratus lumborum, erector spinaes, latissimus dorsi

Symbolically, the core is about strength, containment, and how to set clear boundaries.  While this course is about the body, some of this larger framing will make its way into the course.

If you have lower back issues, tight shoulders/neck, want to become stronger, and less susceptible to overwhelm, this course is for you!

 

Section 1 – Monday 17:00  / Sept 4 – Nov 13 (No class Oct 26)
Section 2 – Monday 19:00 /Sept 4 – Nov 13 (No class Oct 26)
Section 3 – Friday 10:00 / Sept 4 – Nov 13 (No class Oct 9)

The course takes place at my studio, and classes last 90 minutes.
The cost is €300.  Space in each section is limited to 9 participants.
