My Private Studio
After 12 years of public classes, the majority of my teaching now happens in my own space, located in Vienna’s 15th district on Arnsteingasse 30/26-27. The decision to start something of my own space was driven by a question: what kind of transformation would be possible if I taught smaller groups and individuals, over a longer period of time, with a more sustained focus? The answer is ‘a lot’.
I now offer several courses, as well as a Mentorship Program, designed to help you work more efficiently towards your goals, whether they relate movement, yoga or deeper personal transformation. I also offer a weekly Drop-In on Saturdays from 10-12 that includes asana, pranayama and meditation. It’s often full, so register in advance!
If you would like to take your studentship to the next level, I would love to be part of your journey!
SEMI-PRIVATE COURSES
These 10-week courses offer precise instruction on foundational aspects of practice. I teach a ‘First Principles’ approach to understanding how your body works in yoga poses, and my courses explore topics such as:
- how to access the power and stability of the ground (feet, legs, hips),
- how to activate the core and use it to support the upper body,
- how to increase spinal mobility and awaken the dynamic intelligence of the body,
- conscious breathing and its role in state change.
During a course, each class explores a specific aspect of the course theme in a longer format that gives you the time to actually digest what’s being presented and integrate it into your practice.
Classes last 90-min, and groups are fixed for the duration of the course. Missed classes can be redeemed at the Saturday Extended Practice for up to one month after the end of the course. The course fee is 300€.
These courses are highly recommended to teachers and experienced practitioners, though they are open to everyone who is interested in exploring the richness of yoga!
Core to Shoulders —> Fall 2025
This 10-week applied functional anatomy training explores the pivotal core muscles that connect your pelvis to your ribs, spine and shoulders. When properly activated, these muscles will help you connect the stability of your foundation to the movements of the upper body, both protecting your lower back and bringing more freedom to your shoulders and neck. Symbolically, the core represents the connection between your power and your authentic purpose.
Each session will introduce a particular muscle (or group of muscles) and then explore the effect of isolating and engaging it in a variety of poses. This approach will give you tremendous insight into the state of your core, how it affects your foundation and upper body, and how to expand its dynamic potential. Topics include:
• Hip flexion and extension — iliopsoas and glutes
• Anterior chain — rectus abdominals, obliques, transverse abdominals
• Posterior chain — erector spinaes, latissimus dorsi, quadratus lumborum
• Shoulder movements — trapezius, serratus anterior, rhomboids
Section 1 – Monday 17:00 / Sept 1 -Nov 3
Section 2 – Monday 19:00 /Sept 1 -Nov 3
Section 3 – Friday 10:00 / Sept 5 -Nov 14
The Breath —> Winter 2025
You breathe 20,000 times a day, yet most of us have very little awareness of our breath, the muscles involved and the tremendous power that conscious breathing has to improve our health, mood and state. This 5-week course will introduce you to breathing basics and different pranayama techniques, while focusing primarily on breath-centered practice.
Course topics include:
• The mechanics of breathing — the diaphragm and pelvic floor
• The science of breathing — what actually happens when you breath, and how this affects your nervous system
• The yoga of breathing — bhandas, energetics and state change
• The qualities of breath-centred practice
Section 1 – Monday 17:00 / Nov 17 – Dec 15
Section 2 – Monday 19:00 / Nov 17 – Dec 15

Hands to the Heart —> First Quarter 2026
This 10-week course focuses on actions and principles that will open the heart and bring more freedom to your shoulders and neck. On the physical level, this means activating the hands, arms and shoulders and exploring how they work together. As the outer layers open, the work moves deeper into the ribcage and spine and enables a deeper work on the spiritual Heart, which yoga says is the repository of everything you carry. The effects of this deeper work on the Heart extend far beyond the body.
Each thematically focused asana practice either goes deeper into one of our 1st principles or introduces a new one. The cumulative nature of this approach provides tremendous insight into 1) the strengths and limitation of your upper body, 2) how bring more movement into the upper spine , and 3) how to free your Heart from the things it carries. Topics include:
• The state of your upper body foundation – hands to heart
• How the shape of your ribcage affects the way you use your core, shoulders and arms
• Spinal waves to open the 19 vertebra in the chest and neck
• Learning to release what you are to make space for what you might become
Section 1 – Monday 17:00
Section 2 – Monday 19:00
Section 3 – Friday 10:00

Mentorship
This program is available to motivated individuals who would like to work toward a deeper transformation over the course of 3 or 6 months.
This partnership begins with two 2-hr workshops. In the first we clarify your goals, assess your current life situation and identify areas of tension; in the second, we’ll create a strategy that’s aligned with your resources and includes exercises and homework. The process then evolves into weekly or bi-monthly sessions to provide you with continued support and accountability.
